MEDIUM: Digital Marketing - Web Design and Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

OBJECTIVE: Drs. Erin Martin and Serrina Yozsa were interested in a new website for their podiatry office, Talus inMotion Foot & Ankle in Scottsdale, AZ. Their current website was incomplete and they felt it lacked representation of themselves and their practice. They were looking for a more attractive and modern website to help separate themselves from the numerous other podiatry businesses in the area. Additionally they were interested in SEO and how to improve their google rankings locally.

ANALYSIS: Upon review, the website had a large volume of errors both digitally and structurally. SEO revealed no first page ranking for relevant keywords, especially on the term "podiatry" which started with page 3 rankings. Locally, Search Engine Result Pages, or SERP started at page 2. 

SOLUTION: A website redesign complete with a revised logo and photoshoot was implemented on the squarespace platform to create a clean, modern feel. Mixing in exclusive visual content from the photoshoot provided personalized touches to separate themselves from the competition.

To improve SEO and keyword rankings, all content was reviewed and revised for consistency then tagged or reworded to optimize primarily for local transactional search. Primary directories were scrubbed to reflect Talus inMotion's correct business listing while Google search tools were initiated for analytics and search compatibility.

RESULT: Talus inMotion Foot & Ankle currently has over 10 keywords with first page ranking, including top transactional search keyword "Scottsdale Podiatry" in local and national searches.
